Richard Nutter is the President of the Board of the Ag Land Trust.  He is also a former Monterey County Agricultural Commissioner, commissioner of most productive vegetable crop agricultural region in the United States. Dick is nationally recognized as a resource on agricultural issues.

Edward DeMars was Monterey County's first Planning Director, serving at the post for thirty-three years. Ed developed the Monterey County General Plan and Land Use Plan for the Big Sur Coastline. He is a Charter member of the Ag Land Trust.
